Preview The Secret of Evolution - Infernoid

Konami sudah reveal cover untuk set booster terbaru yaitu The Secret of Evolution. Set ini diberikan akronim SECE sebagai kode serinya. Cover nya sendiri terlihat jelas Ace card baru dari tokoh utama di Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V, Sakaki Yuya yang telah berevolusi, Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.

Tapi sayangnya kali ini penulis tidak akan bercerita lebih jauh tentang deck tokoh utama, Pendulum Dragon atau Entermate karena memang lebih menyukai archtype yang mempunyai cerita seperti Shadoll dan Qliphoth di post sebelumnya.

Di set SECE ini terdapat pula archtype baru yang datang sekaligus menjadi pihak baru peperangan. Archtype tersebut adalah Infernoid. Bagaimana bisa tahu kalau archtype ini juga salah satu pihak yang terlibat dalam Archtype Story sejauh ini? Saatnya dibahas satu per satu :)

Infernoid. Berasal dari kata "Inferno" dan "Void" yang secara kasar bisa diartikan sebagai "Neraka yang Hampa". Sejauh ini Archtype Infernoid adalah monster FIRE Fiend-type dengan restriksi Special Summon-nya harus dengan banish monster Infernoid lain saat jumlah Level atau Rank monster yang dikontrol adalah 8 atau kurang.

Boss Infernoid pertama yang di reveal di set ini. Infernoid Nehemoth termasuk Infernoid kelas atas yang pemanggilannya juga berbeda dari Infernoid lain sekaligus mempunya effect yang . . . . . . . bisa kalian nilai sendiri. Check!

"Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand or Graveyard) by banishing 3 other "Infernoid" monsters from your hand and/or Graveyard, while the combined Level or Rank of all Effect Monsters you control is 8 or less, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Special Summoned: You can destroy all other monsters on the field. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a Spell/Trap effect is activated: You can Tribute 1 monster; negate the activation, and if you do, banish it."

Selanjutnya adalah Infernoid Lucifugus. Penulis tidak akan komentar betapa dafuq effect monster Infernoid, jadi silahkan nilai sendiri. Check!

Jika kalian heran ada berapa nama "Beelzebul" di permainan ini, penulis juga merasa seperti itu. Apa tidak ada nama iblis lain yang terkenal? JK please. Monster terakhir yang di reveal effect nya adalah Infernoid Beelzebul. Check!

Ini dia kartu yang menghubungkan Archtype Infernoid denganQliphoth. Sephiroth dibawah Naturia Sacred Tree yang sudah terisi dengan energi ini muncul dengan api yang mengelilinginya.Overflowing Purgatory mulai mengisi cerita peperangan melawanShadoll. Check!

During each of your Standby Phases: You can Special Summon 1 "Infernoid Token" (Fiend-Type/FIRE/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). If you would Special Summon an "Infernoid" monster by its own effect, you can also banish "Infernoid" monsters you control. Your opponent cannot target "Infernoid" monsters you control for attacks, or by card effects, except the "Infernoid" monster(s) you control with the highest Level.

Apa kalian melihat apa yang saya lihat? Yap, dibelakang salah satu monster Infernoid itu adalah Qliphoth Archive. Artwork ini yang benar-benar menggambarkan ada ikatan antara Infernoid dan Qliphoth. Check!

Sementara itu dulu (dan memang itu) yang baru di reveal tentang Archtype Infernoid dari set SECE ini. Saya sengaja tidak menceritakan asal muasal nama monster-monster Infernoid ini karena memang sudah menjurus ke nama-nama iblis. But, no problem, selalu ada cerita dibalik semuanya. Jangan sampai ketinggalan Archtype Story selanjutnya ya :)
